The Royal Flush is an ultra-dynamic whitewater kayak for paddlers over 75kg who are looking for a partner that excels in deep whitewater, but also handles a low-water day in Ticino with athletic composure.
High-volume boats quickly become heavy, as the surface area of the outer hull and thus the boat's weight increase with volume. That's why we limited the Royal Flush's target volume to 335 liters. To still carry a heavy paddler with minimal draft and keep them riding high, the Royal Flush features a long flat hull. The ends were shaped wide and not too voluminous. This allows the boat, despite its length of 276cm, to be quickly and effectively turned over the stern with a sweep stroke and easily accelerated to very high speeds.
It rewards an active, athletic paddling style and delivers dynamic fun even on Class III whitewater. Clearly, those who prefer reactive paddling or Corsican whitewater are better served by the "Ace of Spades". However, for those who love to paddle hard and aggressively in deep water and know how to command a long stern, the Royal Flush is the 'Hattori Hanzo sword' among big-water longboats.
Its ergonomically shaped, fully integrated seat provides optimal seating height and comfortable paddling for many hours, even for very tall paddlers. The reinforcement in the bow stabilizes the cockpit in critical pinning situations and after high drops, and also serves as a foot-accessible emergency exit step.
