Hi, I'm Olli. I come from the beautiful Sauerland region in the heart of Germany, which is also where I paddle most often. But if I could choose a second home for paddling, it would definitely be Austria. A new canoe club was founded in my hometown of Schmallenberg in 1984, which is how I discovered paddling in my youth. I gained my first whitewater experience on the smaller rivers in Sauerland and quickly wanted more. My first Spade boat was the Ace of Spades. When the boat first came onto the market, I test-paddled it and immediately felt comfortable with it. Now I paddle the Royal Flush in whitewater and the Joker in Sauerland. Paddling gives me a feeling of freedom. When I let the water carry me, I can best clear my head from everyday stress. It's best when you're on tour with nice people.
