Hi, I'm Valentin and I live in Graz. I took my first paddle strokes as a small child, and since then, kayaking has become an integral part of my life. I love traveling to different corners of the world and exploring rivers, whether in Nepal, Norway, or back home in Austria – I never get bored when paddling. My favorite thing to do in summer is to go to Norway with a cool crew and enjoy the skips of my Full House on countless slides and drops. Add to that the long days and shared time camping, and you rarely feel so alive. It doesn't always have to be challenging whitewater; with the Barracuda, I can spend hours playing, carving, surfing, and trying out new lines on easier whitewater. When I'm in Graz, I spend a lot of time in my freestyle kayak. It provides the perfect balance to my studies and work, allowing me to push myself in a very simple and safe setting. If the freestyle spots are too shallow for the carbon boat, like at the Freestyle World Championships in Plattling, the Spade Cobra is always a great alternative.
