Nadine Bogenreiter lives in Austria and feels at home wherever nature, activity, and water converge.
She loves to travel in her van to explore new rivers – whether surfing and stern squirts with her Starfire or creeking with her Black Jack. For her, travel isn't just about adventure; it's also about encountering people, cultures, and landscapes that inspire, fascinate, and enrich her.
Nadine is particularly passionate about strengthening the women's community in kayaking. She aims to bring women together on the river, foster the exchange of ideas and experiences, and share the joy of kayaking – all in the spirit of Empowerment of Women on the River. Through projects and initiatives, she seeks to increase the visibility and presence of women in whitewater sports at all levels.
Beyond her role as a team paddler, Nadine is active as a kayak instructor, ski instructor trainer, and outdoor coach. Her Master's degree in action-oriented personal, team, and organizational development according to IOA®️ provides the scientific foundation for this. In her master's thesis, she demonstrated how action-oriented kayak training contributes to personal development – and how nature experiences have an impact far beyond athletic achievements.
When Nadine isn't in her kayak, she's still drawn outdoors: climbing, hiking, swimming, skiing, ski touring, or playing beach volleyball. She equally enjoys finding peace through yoga or playing the guitar and ukulele. She expresses her creativity through drawing, cooking, and reading – moments she values just as much as her next river adventure.
